TCU and Louisiana Bands & Spirit Squads headline the free, open to the public event
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Pageantry, celebration and college football with a New Mexico flavor take center stage during bowl week in Albuquerque. The Isleta New Mexico Bowl Pep Rally fueled by New Mexico Oil and Gas Association will be held in Old Town Plaza at 4:00 pm on Friday, December 27th. The high energy event will be around the gazebo in the heart of the plaza and will bring to life the pomp surrounding college football’s post season.
“I encourage everyone to come out on Friday afternoon and experience the electricity, excitement and talent that these bands and spirit squads bring to Old Town,” said Jeff Siembieda, Isleta New Mexico Bowl Executive Director. “I want to say thank you to the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association for fueling this year’s event. NMOGA contributes to our state’s economy on many, many levels and I am very appreciative to them for stepping up and presenting this event, which is a pillar to bowl week”
“We are thrilled to support the Isleta New Mexico Bowl Pep Rally and celebrate the vibrant spirit of college football in our community,” said Missi Currier, President and CEO of NMOGA. This event not only showcases the incredible talent of the TCU and Louisiana bands and spirit squads but also highlights the importance of community and tradition. It’s worth noting that many of the products used in football and band equipment are made possible by oil and gas, underscoring the vital role our industry plays in supporting these activities. We look forward to an exciting and memorable event for all attendees.”
